Welcome to The Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club, northern New Jersey’s premier tennis and platform tennis club!

Located in Ridgewood, the club is nestled within more than thirty acres of private, wooded, and beautifully landscaped property.

We feature 15 Har-Tru tennis courts, six of them lighted, and 7 elevated, lighted platform tennis courts.

Our Club is a vibrant, comfortable, venue featuring a wide array of social and racquet sport activities.

Throughout the year, junior clinics offer young players an opportunity to learn in a positive, supportive, and fun environment.

Competitively, we participate in spring mens and womens inter-club tennis leagues, and platform tennis leagues through the winter. We actively support competition at a variety of skill levels, fielding 7 womens and 5 mens teams in Bergen County leagues.

Established in 1914, we are a state-of-the-art, member-owned facility. We maintain a proud tradition of promoting tennis, platform tennis, and pickleball as valuable and healthy sports for players of all ages and abilities. “Play groups,” appropriate for the enjoyment of everyone, are regularly arranged.
